$$$gUaP$$$

Just wanted to take a few minutes to talk about that $$$gUaP$$$! I often find myself using this word to articulate my grind towards financial security and success. This unique and catchy word represents the individual who is business minded and dedicated to their hustle. One who is focused on that guap understands the commitment, drive, and sacrifice that is necessary to reach this status.

guap - (gwa'p), n - a considerable amount of money, most often cash, indicating a high degree of purchasing power

A savvy individual takes the time to look into business opportunities that will increase ones guap potential.

Staying the Course

Be encouraged today to work hard towards your goals and aspirations. At times people might not see the vision you have for your life. Don't be discouraged, sometimes it's not for others to see the vision but to be apart of the movement. I am a firm believer that if you focus and put forth the necessary effort you will reach your destination. Ask God to enlarge your territory and be prepared for the opportunities that await your humble request.

Are You a Selfish Lover?

America's nightime host Delilah has published her first book, "Love Matters". The books focus is on the concept that at the end of the day all we have is the love we carry for ourselves and others. Delilah makes a strong point of saying, "the opposite of love is not hate, it's selfishness". I thought about this profound statement and concluded that she is right because it takes for one to like someone to actually hate them. It is imperative that we look at what we consider to be and how we act in the name of love.

Are you a selfish lover? When loved ones are in need do you continue to think of yourself first? Consider a man being laid off from his job during this recession and needing his wife to be supportive and hold down the fort. Do you unselfishly put your plans of going to school on hold to support your family; or do you bottle resentment toward your husband for losing his job and thus act negatively towards his person. This is a great example of putting ones needs to the side temporarily to prioritize in the name of love.

I will say we all have room to grow in this area. But I can assure you that God created us to be stewarts of love first. Check out the book, "Love Matters" by Delilah by visiting her site, www.delilah.com/home/home.html

Believe

We were all birthed from the father. He made each and eveyone of us to be different and special in our own right. It's not until you acknowledge who God is that you will discover who you are and the things God has intended for your life. We all have things about our lives that we are uncomfortable with and are not proud of. The good news is that we all have obstacles to face and God has promised to give us the tools we need to be sucessful in all the things we do and aspire to be. It's really quite simple, believe and trust that there is a higher power governing our lives. Establishing a relationship with God is the key to living a meaningful and peaceful life.
